Pastors

Pastor Howard Wideman
In August of 2006 my wife, Robyn, and I made the commitment to become a part of the fellowship believing this was a place God wanted us to serve by using our unique spiritual gifts. By May of the following year after much prayer the church voted to have us join the staff on a part time basis to assist the senior pastor with teaching responsibilities. During that time ministry duties continued to expand and in September of 2008 became Senior pastor upon the retirement of the previous pastor. We are excited about the possibilities that are ahead. I am committed to teaching an expository message about the truths of God’s Word in order to move people into a closer relationship with Christ. We endeavor to provide opportunities through our weekly services and small group studies where people can grow in their faith as a Christian. My hope and prayer is that people learn how much God loves them and in turn have them love God more by taking what they learn and being servants to others in the community and so demonstrate Christ’s love to a hurting world. Come and grow with us.

Pastor Jim Neigh

It’s a joy to minister to and with our church family. By God’s grace and in His strength, together we continue to walk this journey with Him, enjoying His love, grace, and mercy. We’d love to have you visit us sometime!

Jim and Liz graduated from the Grand Rapids School of the Bible and Music in 1966 with a diploma in Christian Education and Missions respectively. They immediately began their ministry with Child Evangelism Fellowship Inc. in Michigan as local director in Kalamazoo (two years) and Detroit metro area (three years). Jim and his family were led of the Lord to Europe in 1972 to join, and eventually lead, our European Outreach team ministering into seven of the then communist countries of Eastern Europe. God expanded Jim’s ministry to the world when he called him to serve at CEF International Headquarters in the USA in the fall of 1983. Jim served full time in International Ministries from 1984 to 2012, a number of those years as vice president. He continues serving part time through a proofreading, editing, and theological review ministry via Internet. He is an emeritus member of the CEF International Board of Trustees and serves on the CEF Michigan state board.
